Editing your store's order template


This article will show you how to edit your order template, including how to change amounts and add or remove products. You will also learn how to have the changes you make apply to your open orders that are already in Supplyit.




Accessing your order template

  1. Click on the Edit Order Template link in the left-hand workflow navigation
  2. Select the type of template you want to edit; choose work for your in-store production plan or choose purchase for the orders you buy from a supplier
  3. Click Edit to the right of the template information


Editing your order template

  1. Find the product and the day of the week you would like to edit
  2. Click into the box for that product for that day
  3. Enter the new amount you would like to order or plan to make regularly
  4. Edit quantities for all products and days you would like different amounts for
  5. Click the Save Changes button


Adding products to your template

  1. Click Add above the order template
  2. Check the item you would like to buy or make regularly
  3. Once you have selected the products you would like to add, click the Select Products button. New product will appear at the top of the template.
  4. Enter amounts for each day of the week for the new products
  5. Click the Save Changes button


Removing products from your template

  1. Find the item you no longer want to buy or make regularly
  2. Check the box to the left of the item name
  3. Click Remove above the order template. This will gray out the item.
  4. Click the Save Changes button


Applying template changes to open orders

  1. Click Apply to Open Orders on the top right of the order template
  2. Select how you want to update the orders. If you want to update the orders with all the changes you made, then check Add, Update, and Delete. 
  3. Unselect any open orders you do not want to apply the template to
  4. Click the Update Orders button
  5. A pop-up box will appear to make sure you want to update the order(s), click OK
