Delivery routes allow you to map out daily drop-offs, prioritize deliveries by location, and schedule stops along the most efficient paths. Because orders are divided into shifts, each shift requires its own delivery route assignment.

Delivery Route Fields & Criteria
When creating or editing a route, complete the following fields:
| Field | Description |
| Name | A unique label for the route (e.g., A - Birmingham North). |
| Shift | Select the shift this route applies to. Routes are assigned per shift and can vary based on operational needs. |
| Page Group | Group routes together so they print on the same page. A page break is automatically applied after each group. |
| Description | Optional notes regarding the route, assigned driver, or specific vehicle. |
| Sort Options | Delivery sorts items by Delivery Key in ascending order. Packing sorts items by Delivery Key in descending order. |
| Customer | Selects contacts based on the role assigned to them under the Network tab. |
| Stop Number | Derived from the Delivery Key entered for each stop. To keep stops in proper sequential order, pad single-digit numbers with leading zeros (e.g., 01, 02 for under 100 stops, or 001, 002 for 100+ stops). |
| Notes | Location-specific instructions or drop-off guidelines for the driver. |
Remember to click Save Changes after making any modifications.
Pro Tip
Leading Zeros for Stop Numbers: Standard system sorting reads numbers as text. If you have 15 stops and label them
1through15, stop10will sort right after stop1. Always use01, 02... 10so your route prints in the correct physical sequence.
