Modifying Existing Delivery Routes


As your customer base grows or route efficiencies change, you will need to update your delivery schedules. This guide walks you through rearranging, removing, and adding stops to an existing delivery route.


Prerequisites & Details

  • Requirement: An existing delivery route must already be created.

  • Menu Navigation: If you normally use the Workflows navigation menu, click Activities in the left menu bar to access administrative settings.


Basic Navigation


Navigation: ActivitiesAdministrationProductionDelivery

  1. Click Delivery Routes.

  2. Locate your target route and click Edit on the right side.


Rearranging Stops


Use drag-and-drop to reorder delivery stops for better route efficiency:


1. Open the Sorting Tool

In the action menu above the list of stops, click Sort Stops.

2. Drag and Drop:

Click and hold the contact name for the stop you want to move, drag it to its new position in the list, and release the mouse button.

3. Save Changes:

Click Save Changes to lock in the new sequence.

Removing a Stop

1. Select Stops to Remove:

Check the box to the left of each contact name you want to remove.

2. Delete Selected Stops:

In the action menu above the list, click Remove Stops.

3. Confirm and Save:

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.


Adding a Stop


When you add a new stop, it appears at the top of the route list by default. Follow these steps to add and position it correctly:


1. Add the Contact:

In the menu above the stops list, click Add Stop. Select the new contact name from the Contact drop-down menu, then click Save Changes.

2. Open Sort Stops:

Click Sort Stops in the menu above the list. (Your new stop will appear at the top of the list).

3. Reposition and Save:

Click and hold the new contact name, drag it to its correct position in the stop sequence, and click Save Changes.

Verification: Re-open the route's delivery sequence view to confirm all added, moved, or deleted stops reflect correctly in the printed route report.
