This article will teach you how to apply order template updates to existing open orders in Supplyit.

Overview

After editing an order template, you can automatically apply those changes to open orders that have already been generated for future dates.

Prerequisites

• Template Updates: You must update and save the changes to your order template before proceeding.

• Workflow Navigation: If you use Workflows navigation, click Activities above the left menu before starting.

Updating Open Orders

1. Click Activities -> Orders in the left navigation menu.

2. Select the Templates tab.

3. Select the template type you updated (Purchase, Sales, or Work).

4. Click Edit to the right of the updated order template.

5. Click the red Apply To Open Orders link near the top right of the screen.

6. Configure your Update Options:

   • Add: Adds items to the order that are on the template but missing from the open order.

   • Update: Updates order quantities to match the new template quantities when they differ.

   • Delete: Removes items from the order that are no longer on the template.

7. Keep Apply Adjustments checked.

8. Ensure all open orders you wish to update remain selected.

9. Click Update Orders.

10. Select View Orders to review your updated changes.
